Frequently asked questions about our podcast services

We have gathered the most common questions from prospective and current clients. If you do not find your answer here, please do not hesitate to reach out directly.

General questions

Not necessarily. While having a decent USB microphone (we often recommend the Audio-Technica ATR2100x or the Samson Q2U for beginners) will significantly improve your sound quality, we can work with recordings made on a smartphone or laptop microphone and enhance them during post-production. Our noise removal and EQ tools can do wonders, though we always encourage investing in at least a basic microphone for the best results. If you are unsure what to buy, we provide personalised equipment recommendations during our discovery call at no extra cost.
Our standard turnaround is 48 hours for the Starter package and 72 hours for the Professional package, measured from the moment we receive your raw audio files. This includes editing, mastering, and delivery of the final file. If you need an episode faster — for example, to cover a breaking news topic or meet an unexpected deadline — we offer rush delivery within 24 hours for an additional fee. Enterprise clients enjoy priority scheduling, which typically means same-day or next-day turnaround depending on episode complexity.
Absolutely. Our Enterprise package is specifically designed for creators starting from zero. It includes full season strategy and content planning, brand identity development, original music composition for your intro and outro, cover art design, hosting platform setup, and submission to all major directories. We walk you through every decision — from choosing a podcast name to structuring your first batch of episodes — so you feel confident and prepared before you ever hit record. Many of our most successful shows started as nothing more than a rough idea on a napkin.
We work with every common podcast format: solo monologue, co-hosted conversation, interview, panel discussion, narrative storytelling, documentary, and hybrid formats that blend multiple styles within a single episode. Each format has its own editing nuances — for example, interview shows require careful cross-talk management and level matching between host and guest, while narrative shows demand layered sound design and precise pacing. Our editors are experienced across all these styles, and we adapt our workflow to suit whatever format serves your content best.
Yes, without exception. You own 100% of your podcast content, including all recorded audio, show notes, and any creative assets we produce on your behalf. Our role is that of a service provider — we edit, produce, and distribute your content, but the intellectual property rights remain entirely yours. If you ever decide to move to a different production partner or bring things in-house, we will provide all files, assets, and account credentials promptly. We believe in earning your continued business through quality, not contractual lock-in.
Your satisfaction is our top priority. The Starter package includes one round of revisions, and the Professional package includes two rounds. During each revision round, you can request specific changes — adjusting music levels, trimming sections, re-ordering segments, or any other modification. Enterprise clients enjoy unlimited revisions. In our experience, most episodes require only minor tweaks after the first draft, because we invest time upfront to understand your preferences and maintain detailed style guides for each show we produce.
We use professional remote recording platforms that capture each participant on a separate, high-quality local track regardless of internet conditions. This means your guest in Sydney and your co-host in New York are both recorded at full fidelity, even if someone's Wi-Fi stutters. We handle all the scheduling, send calendar invitations with pre-session tech check instructions, and can join the recording session live to monitor levels and troubleshoot any issues. Time zone coordination is something we manage daily, so you never have to worry about the logistics.
While our core expertise is audio production, we do offer video podcast support as an add-on service. This includes syncing your edited audio with video footage (recorded via Zoom, Riverside, or your own camera), adding lower-third graphics, and exporting in formats optimised for YouTube and social media. We also create short-form video clips — typically 60 to 90 seconds — highlighting the most engaging moments of each episode, perfect for sharing on Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Contact us for a custom quote based on your video needs.
No. We offer both per-episode pricing and monthly retainer options, but there is no minimum number of episodes or mandatory contract duration. You can start with a single episode to test the waters and scale up as you see fit. That said, clients who commit to a monthly retainer (typically four or more episodes per month) benefit from discounted per-episode rates and priority scheduling. We find that most clients who try us for one episode end up staying for the long haul — but that decision is always yours to make freely.
